The company was founded by Eyal Greenberg and Josh Honig, who launched their careers in Goldman Sachs' Investment Banking Division before moving on to separate real estate institutions, where they collectively executed $5 billion in transactions.

Eyal Greenberg
Managing Partner

Prior to co-founding Greenmont Group, Eyal was a partner at RedSky Capital, a real estate owner, operator and development firm, which at the time held $2 billion in assets under management. At RedSky, Eyal was responsible for acquisition, capitalization, management, restructuring and disposition of real estate assets in New York City and South Florida.
Prior to joining RedSky, Eyal worked at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division, where he focused on real estate, gaming and lodging and worked on more than $2 billion in M&A and debt and equity financing transactions.
Eyal holds a B.S. in accounting from Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business, where he graduated salutatorian of his class.
Josh Honig
Managing Partner

Prior to co-founding Greenmont Group, Josh was a member of the Investments team at CIM Group, a real estate private equity firm with approximately $30 billion in assets under management. At CIM, he was responsible for sourcing, acquiring, financing, managing and disposing of real estate investments across major U.S. markets. He played a key role in growing and managing a $500 million mixed-use portfolio in Los Angeles’s Hollywood Media District.
Before joining CIM, Josh was on the acquisitions team at Silverstein Properties, where he focused on office and multifamily investments in New York City. He began his career at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division, advising clients in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors on mergers, acquisitions and capital markets transactions.
Josh holds a B.S. in finance from the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University, where he graduated valedictorian of his class.
Shawn Pandit
Vice President, Investments

Shawn currently serves as Vice President of Investments at Greenmont Group and offers institutional experience in real estate investment, development and asset management.
Prior to joining Greenmont Group, Shawn worked at Extell Development Company, one of the country’s most prominent private real estate development firms, where he focused on acquisitions, dispositions and equity raising activities.
Shawn also previously held positions at DWS Group, an international asset manager with $36 billion in private real estate assets under management, and ABS Partners Real Estate, a New York City-based owner-operator with over 14 million square feet under management.
Shawn holds a M.S. in real estate from New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate in addition to a B.B.A. in finance from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business.
Jared Rechnitz
Vice President, Investments

Jared currently serves as Vice President of Investments at Greenmont Group and has institutional real estate experience in investment, management and accounting.
Prior to joining Greenmont Group, Jared worked at Twenty Lake Holdings, a family office with over $1 billion in real estate assets under management, where he was responsible for sourcing, acquisition, asset management and disposition of real estate assets across the United States.
During his tenure at Twenty Lake Holdings, Jared executed on more than $500 million of transactions and was responsible for the asset management of several million square feet of commercial space. Prior to joining Twenty Lake Holdings, Jared worked at Time Equities Inc., a private real estate firm with $6 billion in assets under management. Jared also held positions at Grant Thornton and Bomel Companies, a private real estate development firm based in Los Angeles.
Jared holds a B.A. in economics from Yeshiva University, a M.S. in accounting from Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business, and a M.S. in real estate from New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate.
Matthew Nicholas, CPA
Vice President, Finance & Accounting

Matthew currently serves as Vice President of Finance & Accounting at Greenmont Group and has over 10 years of experience in the real estate industry.
Prior to joining Greenmont Group, Matthew was the controller at RedSky Capital, a real estate investment and development firm, where he managed accounting, reporting and the disposition of real estate assets in New York City and South Florida. Matthew began his career at Berdon LLP, a regional accounting firm, specializing in audit and taxation.
Matthew holds a M.S. in accounting from Hofstra University’s Frank G. Zarb School of Business and a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst’s Isenberg School of Management. Matthew is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
